Pray for the Chapman family

Greetings House,

Let's keep the family of Christian music singer Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife Marybeth in prayer. The family has just experienced a tragic loss of their 5 year-old adopted daughter through an accident at their home. Apparently, one of the elder sons accidentally hit her with the car in the driveway. It's surely a painful and difficult loss for them. On behalf of House of Prophets, I wish to extend the condolences of this community to the family and those around them as they go through this difficult time. May the Holy Spirit minister His comfort and peace to your hearts, and surround you with His presence.

Interestingly, Mr. Chapman recently wrote and released a song called "Cinderella" which I hear was inspired as he observed his daughter asleep in her bed, and realized she was getting bigger and growing up. It talks about his desire as a father to enjoy the time he has with his daughter while she's still in the little-girl "Cinderella" phase of her life. The lyrics go something like "So I will dance with 'Cinderella' while she's still here in my arms / I don't wanna miss even one song / Because I know something the prince never knew / All too soon the clock will strike midnight and she'll be gone" "Gone" of course originally meaning grown up, moved out, and starting her own family. But how more profound this song is now...
