Being in ministry I encounter many "strange things" and behaviors. My pastor will discipline every one in the congregation but at my church quite a few "leaders" are his family members. He recently installed deacons and somehow has the one female insisting she be called "Deacon and not Deaconess". She is so argumentive about issues that I wonder how pastors really pick their leaders. I am really wanting to leave this fellowship. I am on the praise team and one of the other singers is always mad about something. The congregation is small and some of the "hiccups" could be frustration and birthing pains. I usually stay at a church until I cant take anymore, but I wonder if pastors know how to govern.
