No doubt you all have seen the Google ads that appear on the front page. Some of you may also be aware that the content these ads are promoting is questionable, and in some cases worse. Well, we are doing something about it.

The site does earn a small amount of money through giving space to Google. Who gets to use the space is whoever pays Google to have their ad on sites that contain whatever subject/keyword they (the promoter) are targeting. In our case, it is prophetic-related. It doesn't matter the content, they could be the same spirit as us, or totally off-the-wall, but as long as they buy adspace for sites with prophetic-related material, they get promotion on our site. Unfortunately, we've gotten some of the off-the-wall stuff plastered on our front page, and we're tired of seeing it there.

For the record, I've never seen anything in the ads that I would personally endorse or recommend to anyone, especially the Armstrongism. So if any of you have had thoughts or doubt about HoP because of what you saw in the ads, rest easy. We're not intentionally promoting that stuff, rather we're seeing quite enough of it.
